Something Special at the Baybery:

Thai Cuisine

The festivals of Thailand
exemplify the spirit of
the Thai attitude to life ~

Falling in October, Tod Kathin marks the end of the rainy season. This is the occasion for the royal barge procession down the Chao Phya when the King journeys with traditional pomp and ceremony to make the annual offering of new, saffron-coloured robes to the monks.

"...they line up, joining together in striking
up the sound of musical instruments...
Whoever wants to play, plays.
Whoever wants to laugh, laughs.
Whoever wants to sing, sings."
